Terms & Conditions:

By accessing or using the services and facilities of Amaleena Events Hall (“we”, “us”, “our”), you (“Client”, “you”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

1.1 All bookings require a signed rental agreement and payment of the required deposit to secure the date.
1.2 Full payment must be received as outlined in the rental agreement prior to the event.
1.3 Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.4 We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances, including safety, maintenance, or legal requirements.

2. Use of Venue

2.1 The venue is to be used solely for the purpose outlined in your booking agreement.
2.2 You must comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, regulations, and by-laws, including noise restrictions, occupancy limits, liquor licensing, health & safety, and fire codes.
2.3 No illegal activity is permitted on the premises.

3. Damage & Liability

3.1 Clients are responsible for any damage to the facility, equipment, or furnishings caused by attendees, contractors, or vendors during the event.
3.2 Amaleena Events Hall is not liable for personal injury, property loss, or theft during your event.
3.3 Clients are encouraged to obtain event insurance, including liability coverage, where appropriate.

4. Vendors & Contractors

4.1 Only approved vendors may operate within the venue unless otherwise authorized in writing.
4.2 Vendors must comply with all health, safety, and insurance requirements.
4.3 Amaleena Events Hall is not responsible for services or conduct of external vendors.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

5.1 All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
5.2 Refunds of deposits are subject to the terms of your rental agreement.
5.3 We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel events due to emergencies, force majeure, or safety concerns.

6. Accessibility & Safety

6.1 The venue is committed to accessibility and follows local accessibility standards.
6.2 Clients are responsible for ensuring the safety of all attendees and must adhere to venue rules, including fire exits, occupancy limits, and emergency procedures.

7. Photography, Videography & Marketing

7.1 We may take photographs or videos of the venue during events for promotional purposes.
7.2 By booking, you consent to the use of such images unless otherwise requested in writing.

8. Privacy

8.1 Client personal information will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amaleena Events Hall, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the venue, breach of this agreement, or violation of any law.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Edmonton, Alberta.

11. Amendments

Amaleena Events Hall reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The “Effective Date” at the top indicates the current version. Clients are responsible for reviewing updated terms prior to booking or using our services.
